Dance Companies (ages 14 and up)

Emerald (Springville directed by Andrea Hunt) and Ruby (Lehi) directed by Leeza Stephens) Companies (age 10 by Dec 1 and up)

Registration for all companies: 8:30-8:45 a.m. (pre-registration is encouraged)

Audition Class: 9:00-10:30 (Closed Audition, no outside parties) Results posted at 11:00

Mandatory Parent Meeting, Measurements and Fitting: 11-11:45 a.m.

Requirements:

Topaz and Sapphire : Age 14 and up Three in-class hours in the week Third Saturdays 2 ballet classes, 2 additional jazz classes		Emerald and Ruby Age 10 and up Company meets once per week and Third Saturdays 2 ballet classes, 1 additional jazz class

Company Fees for ballet and jazz are assessed on individual company basis (see registration form for company fee details). Disneyland Topaz, Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby companies (ages 10 and up) are invited to perform at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California in February/March 2015. Details to follow. Our previous trip in 2013 cost approximately $700/person. We are aiming for a similar cost breakdown in 2015. Attendance is encouraged but not required. Fundraising opportunities are available.

Registration: 11:15-11:40 a.m.

Audition Class: 11:45-12:45 (technique shoes)

1:00-1:30 (pointe shoes: minimum 6 months en pointe)

Mandatory Parent Meeting, Measurements and Fitting, Contracts: 1:30-2:00 p.m.

Ballet Utah III (Lehi and Springville Company)

Registration 11:15-11:40 a.m.

Audition Class (combined with Ballet Utah II): 11:45-1:00

Announcement of Placement, Measurement and Mandatory Parent Meeting, Contracts: 1:15-2:00

Requirements:

Ballet Utah Company classes meet three times per week and second and fourth Saturdays each month Must enroll in 1 additional ballet class and 1 jazz class		Ballet Utah II En pointe six months minimum Company meets twice per week and second Saturday each month 2 additional ballet classes, 1 jazz class
Ballet Utah III (Age 10 by December 1) One Company class per week (Fridays), selected Saturdays Requirements: 1 additional ballet class, 1 “prep-pointe” class, 1 jazz class

Note: Lehi companies will take classes in Lehi. Springville companies will be in Springville.

(There will be no required weekly travel to a different studio in 2014-2015)
