Class Moms and Ushers: We NEED YOU! CLASS MOMS: This can be a special time with your daughter! You get to accompany her class for photos and dress rehearsal, where you sit with the class in the first few rows (great place to video). At the show a section of balcony seats is reserved for you and your dancers. It’s not difficult, just special! Email lynne@academyofballet.net USHERS: Usher and get $15 credit on account and watch the show from the door. Call 225-1775
Dance Class Pictures and Individual Photos will be Taken at the Dress Rehearsal Dance class pictures and Individual Photos will be taken at the dress rehearsal by Life Touch Portrait Studio, and the photos will be mailed to you. Additional order forms will be available at the Covey Center.
DVDs and Photography A Professional 2-camera shoot is being recorded at the show. DVDs are available to order for $25. Order forms are attached. Class and individual photos will be taken at the dress rehearsal. Order forms are available at the studio or the Covey Center.
Little Dancers: After the performance, meet your young dancer by her class sign in the Lobby. If your daughter is a Court Fairy, Lilac Fairy, Songbird, Children of the Court, Musician, Palace Maid, Firefly, Butterfly, or Country Maid meet in the Lobby after the performance under the class signs. Meet Jazz students at the stage door in the lobby 10 minutes after the show.
Tickets are “Reserved Seating” Call 801 852 7007 ($3 per phone per order (not per ticket) or order online at CoveyCenter.org. Tickets are $6-$10 depends on seating. COVEY CENTER POLICY: IF TICKETS ARE LOST OR LEFT AT HOME, YOU MUST PURCHASE MORE. The show is great for 3-year-olds, but younger children and Babes-in-arms will be seated in the balcony only.
Costume Info Place costume in dryer for 15-20 seconds to de-wrinkle. Shake it out. Can repeat process. Costume doesn’t fit? Come to dress rehearsal 30 minutes early and the seamstress will help you.

SUMMER INTENSIVES JULY 6-17TH  Guest Teachers: Mark and Stephanie Lanham- world renowned dancers and instructors Technique is improved up to an equivalent of an extra ½ year of training. Beginning Level: age 8-10 (M-Th): Ballet, Tap or Jazz, Turns and Leaps. Fri: warmup class and Pioneer Legacy Intermediate Level: age 11-14 (M-Th) Ballet: Prep Pointe, Jazz. All studios. Master class Fri Advanced: 13 up (M-Th) Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Jazz, Fri: Master Class: pointe, pas de deux.
PIONEER LEGACY Oct 22, 23, 24: Capitol Theater Salt Lake City, features selected AOB students and professional cast. Some choreography will be taught in summer workshop. Auditions for participation in Pioneer Legacy will be held July 17th 4-6pm in the Lehi Studio, 388 E Main.
CALENDAR May 30: Optional class for missed classes during the dance year including Memorial Day. 9:00 am at each studio. June 1-6: Dance Awards given last 10 minutes of each class. Parents welcome. Class ends 5 minutes early. June 8-13: Classes at studios are held as well as rehearsals at the Covey. We will email if any conflicts. June 10: June tuition is due and remains the same. (Annual tuition has been divided into ten equal months) June 19: Auditions: Ballet Utah III Lehi 10:00am, parents 11:30 Springville: 1:00pm, parent meeting 2:30pm June 19: Auditions: Ballet Utah I & II LEHI: 1:00pm, parent meeting 2:45pm, Springville: 3:00pm, parents 4:45 July 6-17: Summer intensive in Lehi, Orem, and Springville. Guest instructors: Mark & Stephanie Lanham July 18: Auditions for Pioneer Legacy, Capitol Theater show Lehi: 1:00, Springville: 4:00 Aug 17: Fall Classes begin.
